Brand new interview with Adam by The Miami Herald, Lauren Patao

Tell us about your character Deuce.

He is very street smart, witty, but he is such a good friend. He will be selling watches on one side of his jacket and headphones on the other side, but at the end of the day, he’ll come back to CeCe and Rocky and ask what they need.

Was it difficult making the move from Miami to Southern California?

When I was in Miami I lived in Kendall, and it’s a whole bunch of Cubans, and the rest of my family lived in Hialeah. Moving was definitely a major change. In Miami there are no mountains, and it’s always hot. Here there’s a whole bunch of beautiful scenery, and there is wind, and it never rains. It was definitely a weird and drastic change.

How do the cast members get along?

This has become my home away from home. I’ve said recently that I’ve never worked a day in my life. I really haven’t, because this is so much fun. It really is my family, like a whole bunch of brothers and sisters.

What would be your advice for aspiring actors and actresses?

Never give up on your goals and dreams. Also, just keep going because that is really the only way you can succeed in life. No matter how many obstacles you have to overcome or what gets in your way, you have to find a way to get around them.

You have a lot of female fans. Will you ever get used to that?

Well, it’s a sacrifice. No, I’m messing! It’s really surreal for me because just the fact that I was 8 years old saying I wanted to be on the Disney Channel and for me to actually be on it now and on a hit TV show, nonetheless. All of my fans are the greatest, and I love that they take ownership of me.

Yet another contest has been opened, and this one, Shake it Up: Dance Dance is open to residents of UK & Ireland, and the prize is a trip to LA.
It is very similar to the “Make your Mark” contest, you create your own Dance Dance video and submit it on the site.
Viewers have until August 31st to upload their clips. The winner will be voted for from a shortlist of 10 finalists.
Prizes are as follows;

First Prize
A trip for the winner and 3 people to Los Angeles USA. The prize includes the following:
- 7 nights accommodation at a 3-star hotel for four (4) people;
- Four return flights from a London airport to Los Angeles;
- Four return train tickets from winner’s nearest train station and the London airport
- 2-day entry passes to Disneyland California for up to four people;
- £1000 (one thousand pounds) spending money;
- 2 hour dance lesson with Akai Osei in London in October/November 2011 for the winner
and up to three friends.

Finalist Prizes
There are ten (10) finalist prizes. Each Finalist will receive the following prize: one X-box, one Kinect and one Dance Central 2 X-box/Kinect game.

Weekly Prizes
There are 8 weekly prizes. Each winner will receive one Dance Dance goodie bag.

I just added some new event pics of Kenton Duty and Roshon Fegan. On April 16th Kenton attended the “The Block Party On Wisteria Lane” Benefiting The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They both attended the First Star’s Celebration For Children’s Rights Event on May 1st, then on May 4th, Roshon attended the NYLON Magazine May Young Hollywood Celebration. As you might know, Caroline Sunshine was the January Cover girl for Dream Magazine! You can read an interview with her here. I just added 4 images to the gallery from the photoshoot, taken by Alexandra DeFurio, and then the Cover page.

I just added over 500 HD screencaps from episode 14, “Hot Mess it Up”, it’s the only episode I’ve taken screencaps of so far, but they will hopefully all be added eventually. Hope you like it!

Actress Ryan Newman‘s birthday is on April 24th and she celebrated her birthday with a birthday party on April 21st. Caroline, Kenton, Adam and Davis were there to celebrate it with her! There are some great portraits also, so make sure you check them out!

On April 21, cast members from “Shake it Up”, were at Greenzy’s First Annual Family Earth Day Celebration at Fred Segal. I’ve added 19 images to the gallery, be sure to check them out!

I’m so sorry for the lack of updates!! I will be in final exams in May, am in summer holidays about 18th of May, and then I will do my best on this site, school has to come first though, I hope you understand. Maybe I’ll update more pics later now, but for now, here are no more or less than 175HQ images of the whole cast of Shake it Up at the Disney Kids & Family Upfront 2011.
